3 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup Mazola oil
4 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
2/3 cup cold water
3 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix together first 7 ingredients. Mix well. Add pumpkin and water. Mix well. Add flour, mix well, and add nuts. Grease and flour 3 1-lb coffee cans. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
